Moschino
This week was Milan Menswear shows and one of the first reviews I read was this: “What does it say about a label when they fill the hotly fought over front row of a fashion show with quirky stuffed animals?” (Jessica Mischault for the International Herald Tribune, June 24, 2008).
Moschino appears to have filled the front row of their Spring Summer 2009 Menswear show with huge stuffed animals. Well that is pretty damn cool. So was the collection, with a picnic themes and lots of fun prints.
The light pink suits aren’t for everyone, but the tailoring was definitely the highlight here, featuring a very classic look in unusual colors and prints.
The suits in pinks, peace-sign prints, and bright reds looked very fifties, and the accessories this season were all about picnic baskets with fresh baguettes.
